The USDA recognizes Michigan as one of the premier sites in the world for growing black currants. The new super-fruits our ancestors used to grow. We started our farm with the firm belief that our community deserves access to the most nutritious fruits available. That is why we endeavored to be the first commercial growers of black currants, red currants and gooseberries in Michigan.

Our all natural syrups, infused vinegars and loose leaf black currant tea blends are minimally processed, with no artificial flavorings, colors, or preservatives. We use locally produced juice from our farm whenever possible, and non GMO sugar.
We have provided thousands of free tastes to our customers at farm markets throughout Michigan. It didn't take us long to learn what people thought of our products. We kept hearing the same phrase over and over again, "That's amazing!"
Our competitors often add black currant flavoring to enhance the flavor of their products, citric acid as a preservative and both corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup as sweeteners. No, really they do, check their labels. Since black currants are extremely flavorful and have the highest Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) level of any fruit in the world, you may ask yourself...
"Why would they add flavorings and acid to their products"?
